    Hey fellas,

I've surfed here a handful of times but haven't experienced any rip as yet. I'm going down on a dawnie tomorrow along with my 18 year old nephew who's going out for the first time - should be approaching high by the time we're in - any pointers on where the rip actually is and in what conditions it tends to occur?

    Appreciate any advice.

    Cheers.

    Si.

If your looking at the min beach there is a rip to the right of the rocks which is hands to help with the paddle out.

depending on the day the rip runs right to left or lrft to right when your out the back.

Low tide has a bigger rip and when its big it can be a pain in the arse!
