Suffering from dry, gritty, foggy eyes after an hour or so in the water. Some eye drops do the job after a couple of hours, but does anyone have any particular preventative/treatment tips or product recommendations?

I used to get that when I was a kid and could only go in the sea with my parents. As I got older and went in the water more, my eyes toughened up and the problem went away

I have UV damage in both eyes and suffer with dry eyes.

I was told by a doctor at the Royal Eye Infirmary in Plymouth to use this stuff -

Lacri-Lube (Ocular Lubricant) Preservative Free Eye Ointment Soothes and Moisturises Dry Eyes

Lacri-Lube ocular lubricant for dry eye conditions is an eye ointment containing medicinal liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin and wool alcohols. It is used to lubricate and protect the outer surface of the eye without inducing tear production

Thanks. Fingers crossed my eyes will get used to the water.

In the meantime, I'll try that lacri-lube.
